Description

We do believe that innovation is a key to achieve a succesful project.

Standard Metin2 pack manager (named as EterPack) is old and inefficient making file load and memory usage performance really poor.

This all comes to outdated ideas and nearly 20 y.o implementation that does not utilize new techniques and modern libraries.

As a solution we decided to get rid of this old pack manager and to bring on our own.

Ultimate Pack Manager was tailored specifically to embraces speed, performance and security.

Thanks to the fact we were not limited by former implementation, we came up with a complete rework of pack structure and file processing.

It led use to amply improve loading times, utilize multithreading for file processing and to prevent physical unpack with commonly available unpackers.

The mix of XXHash, LZ4 and more state-of-art libraries renders a magnificent effect.
